Chargeback management software compared

Six chargeback management solutions in one table: what each costs, what it takes from a win, who does the work and what it needs from you. Dispute Daddy is $99 a month flat with no fee on what you win. Where another provider offers something we don’t, such as alerts or a managed team, we say so.

Six chargeback management solutions at a glance

Chargeback software and chargeback management companies split into three kinds: software that builds the response for you to approve, automated platforms and managed services that run disputes for you, and alert services that help you refund before a chargeback is filed. Here is how six of them compare.

Pricing compared: a percentage of recovery vs. a flat fee

Chargeback tools charge in one of four ways:

  • A flat monthly price. Dispute Daddy is $99 a month per business. No success fee, no per-dispute charge, no exit fee.
  • A share of each win. Chargeflow keeps 25% of each recovered chargeback. Justt charges when it wins but doesn’t publish the rate.
  • A custom quote. Chargebacks911 and Chargeback Gurus price through their sales teams.
  • A fee per alert. chargeback.io charges $15 to $29 for each alert that prevents a chargeback. The alert works by refunding the customer, so the sale is gone either way.

Here is the flat-versus-percentage math with Chargeflow’s published rate. At 25%, the fee passes $99 once you recover more than $396 in a month. Win one $1,200 dispute and the percentage costs you $300. With Dispute Daddy, it’s $99, whatever you win.

Ask every provider two questions: what is the fee on your biggest possible win, and what does leaving cost? A flat price answers both up front.

Where Dispute Daddy is different

  • You keep every dollar you win. One price, $99 a month per business, however much the bank returns.
  • No integration and no logins. You upload the dispute notice and your records. It works with any processor or lender, in any industry.
  • Minutes, not an afternoon. Dispute Daddy classifies your documents, matches them to the card network’s rules and builds a finished, cited response in about 3 minutes. By hand, the same work often takes 3 hours or more.
  • You approve everything. Nothing goes to your processor without your say-so, because you submit it yourself.
  • No exit fee. Cancel anytime.

What it doesn’t do: Dispute Daddy offers no alerts, no prevention, no automatic submission and no outside team to run your disputes. If you need those, one of the providers above is the better choice.

It depends on the job. To fight your own chargebacks at a flat price, with no integration, Dispute Daddy fits. For an outside team to run disputes, look at Chargebacks911 or Chargeback Gurus. For automated, high-volume online disputes, look at Chargeflow or Justt. To refund disputes before they become chargebacks, chargeback.io sells alerts.

How much does Chargebacks911 cost?

Chargebacks911 doesn’t publish prices. Its own comparison article describes custom pricing that combines service fees with performance incentives, so you need a demo or quote to get a number.

Which chargeback software doesn’t take a percentage of wins?

Dispute Daddy charges $99 a month per business, with no fee on what you win. chargeback.io charges per alert instead, but an alert works by refunding the sale. Chargeflow and Justt charge on wins, Chargebacks911 describes performance incentives, and Chargeback Gurus doesn’t publish prices.

Does Dispute Daddy offer alerts or submit responses for me?
