For service businesses
Customer disputed a charge
for work you already did?
The customer called their bank, the bank took the money, and now you have days to prove the service happened. Dispute Daddy turns your appointment records, agreements and messages into a response the bank takes seriously. No integrations. Just upload your documents.
Why service disputes are harder.
Chargeback rules grew up around shipped goods, where a tracking number settles most arguments. A haircut, a repair or a cleaning has no tracking number. Your proof lives in your calendar, your signed forms, your photos and your texts with the customer, and the bank only sees what you put in front of it.
The disputes service businesses get.
Each one needs different proof, in a different order. Dispute Daddy knows which records the bank weighs for each and builds the response around them.
“Services not provided”
The customer says you never did the work, or never finished it.
What wins: Proof the work happened, on the date you say, for this customer.
Deposit disputes
The customer paid a deposit, cancelled, and wants it back.
What wins: Proof the customer agreed to your deposit terms before paying.
Cancellation and no-show fees
“I cancelled.” “I never agreed to that fee.”
What wins: Proof the customer agreed to the policy and missed the window.
“Not as described”
The work was done, but the customer says it wasn’t what they paid for.
What wins: Proof of what was agreed, and what you delivered.
Packages and memberships
Prepaid sessions, plans and memberships disputed months later.
What wins: Proof of the agreement and what the customer used. These can arrive long after payment, so keep records longer than you think.
“I don’t recognize this charge”
The customer doesn’t remember the business name on their statement.
What wins: Proof that ties this customer to this appointment.

Questions
Can I win a chargeback for a service I already provided?+
Often, if your records show the service happened: the appointment, a signed work order or completion record, and messages with the customer. The bank decides, so nobody can promise a win, but service businesses that answer with dated proof give themselves the best chance.
Will a non-refundable deposit hold up in a dispute?+
Only if the customer clearly agreed to the policy before paying. Show the policy text, where they saw it, and when they accepted it, such as a signed form, a checked box or a booking confirmation.
Do I need to connect Square, Stripe or my card processor?+
No. Upload the dispute notice and your records. Dispute Daddy works with any processor, and you submit the finished response yourself.
